Best Way To Store Your Prepper Supplies

When you take survival and prepping seriously, you’ll accumulate a lot of gear and supplies and you’ll need an efficient way to store your prepper supplies. You have numerous options for storing your goods.

You might be thinking to yourself that a bug out bag is the ideal place to store your preps, and you would have a good point there. There will be considerable supplies that you’ve accumulated that are specifically for hunkering down at home though. While storing as much as you can in your bag and using the items little by little might initially sound like a feasible idea, you’ll probably soon realize that if you have to get up and go your bag will be light due to your recent consumption. Despite all your planning and preparation, you’ll be at a disadvantage and won’t be as well equipped as you could have been when you get to your bug out location.

I’ve thought long and hard about what measure I should take to store my supplies, and I think I have come up with the best solution. Milk crates. 

I can store my canned foods very efficiently in milk crates. My first aid kit and supplies too. Even better, milk crates slide nicely under my bed, both creating efficient and inconspicuous storage. If someone manages to make their way past my front door, when they go for the kitchen pantry closet or other likely places someone would stash their supplies, the potential thieves will come up empty. Chances are pretty slim that they will be looking under the bed.
