We know something is on the horizon, so how do we convince our loved ones to be prepared? This is a delicate matter. Some of the closest people in our lives aren’t dialed in like we are when it comes to how important being prepared for a SHTF scenario is. They might even roll their eyes when we tell them about our latest and greatest new item to add to our bug out bag. Even if they would never take prepping to the level that we would, we can still effectively convince them to have the basics on hand if we approach the topic in the right way.
The thought of my closest family and closest friends being behind the 8 ball when the grid goes down terrifies me. I am just not going to let that happen. Maybe I can’t get some people to do everything I’m doing, and I have to accept that. I have made some headwinds in convincing a few people that they need to some things to ensure their survival. For the others that I love, I have to basically give them survival items knowing that they would never buy them themselves. Knowing that they have these basic provisions helps me sleep better at night.
